download cvI've been working in the design industry for 8 years. I've worked at small agencies, in the corporate design world, and was a freelance designer for several years with an array of clients.
I've been a hobbyist photographer since I first got hands on a Barbie film camera as a child. I have since graduated to my trusted Canon 80D and Pentax Spotmatic II for 35mm format photography.
My passion lies in UX/UI design. I enjoy exploring the whys of design and understanding what makes an experience better for the end user. I just finished an online User Experience certification with Cornell University.
UX/UI Design
One of my projects as a Freelance Graphic Designer was a contract postion to redesign the map for the San Francisco Airport website. I was provided wireframes and examples from the client of how they wanted their site to function. Using Sketch, I mocked up some UX/UI ideas. After several rounds of revisions, they sent their approval and the designs were handed off to a team of developers.

In January 2018, I started a journey into hand lettering, which was inspired by lettering artist, Lauren Hom. Lettering and illustration motivate me as an artist and often helps me push through any creative blocks I'm suffering from.
Canon 80D
Being from a rural area, I grew up surrounded by nature. My love for the outdoors is in my blood. I love getting outside and exploring with my camera. My favorite outdoor activities are hiking and kayaking.
